This atmospheric arrangement was written for the New York Staff Band (NYSB) at the request of Bandmaster Ronald Waiksnoris for the NYSB 120th Anniversary alumni weekend celebrations held in New York, October 2007.

My Lagan Love is a traditional, modal tune from Ireland, thought to be named after the Lagan river that runs through Belfast, Northern Ireland. The melody is very evocative, and in this arrangement prominently features the Euphonium.

The video below features Festival Brass (MD Alan Corry) performing at the 2008 Christmas Concert at Glenmachan Church of God, Northern Ireland conducted by Roger. The arrangement features John Murdock on Euphonium.
