BATTLE READY

Battle Ready uses two tunes, ‘From strength to strength’ (‘Soldiers of Christ, arise’) and ‘St. John’ (‘Jehovah is our strength’) to give an insight into the Christian journey. Each song refers to the Christian’s preparation for the battle and their reliance on Almighty God leading to ultimate victory.

‘Battle Ready’ was premiered by Enfield Citadel Band at St John’s, Smith Square, London on the eve of the 2008 National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
